This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of all services provided by TAB.DIGITAL, including managed cloud, hosting, and infrastructure solutions based on open-source software technologies such as Nextcloud, OpenProject, and other related collaboration, file sharing, and data management platforms.

TAB.DIGITAL provides these services as fully managed environments, which may include shared or dedicated infrastructure, data storage, synchronization, collaboration tools, and associated technical components. The services are operated and maintained by TAB.DIGITAL.

This Policy applies to all customers of TAB.DIGITAL, including individual users, businesses, organizations, and any third parties, collaborators, or sub-users who access or use the services under a customer account. By accessing or using the services, users agree to comply with this Policy.

2. Permitted Use

TAB.DIGITAL services may be used solely for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and this Policy. Users are permitted to use the services for legitimate personal and business activities, including the storage, synchronization, and management of data, collaboration with authorized users, communication, and the operation of business-related workflows and applications.

Use of the services must at all times respect the rights of TAB.DIGITAL, other users, and third parties. Users are expected to act in good faith and in accordance with generally accepted standards of responsible and lawful use of cloud and infrastructure services.

Any use of the services that exceeds reasonable and intended usage patterns, interferes with the normal operation of the platform, or compromises the security, integrity, or availability of TAB.DIGITAL systems or networks shall not be considered permitted use under this Policy.

3. Prohibited Use

Users are strictly prohibited from using TAB.DIGITAL services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of the services for the storage, processing, transmission, or distribution of content that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of third parties.

In particular, users may not use the services to engage in activities such as copyright infringement, unauthorized distribution of protected materials, or the hosting of content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, or promotes violence, discrimination, or unlawful conduct.

The services must not be used to create, distribute, or facilitate malware, ransomware, or any other malicious code, nor may they be used for phishing, fraud, impersonation, or other deceptive practices.

Users are further prohibited from using the services to send unsolicited communications, including spam or bulk messaging, or to operate services that could negatively impact the integrity, security, or availability of TAB.DIGITAL infrastructure.

Any attempt to probe, scan, bypass, or compromise system security or access controls is strictly prohibited.

Any use of the services that poses a risk to the platform, other users, or third parties, as reasonably determined by TAB.DIGITAL, shall be considered a violation of this Policy.

4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Users of TAB.DIGITAL services are required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those of the European Union and any other jurisdiction relevant to their use of the services. This includes, without limitation, laws relating to data protection and privacy, intellectual property, electronic communications, and the prevention of fraud and financial crime.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the services, as well as any content they store, process, or transmit, is compliant with applicable legal requirements. This responsibility extends to any third parties or sub-users who are granted access to the services under the user’s account.

5. Responsibility for Account and Sub-Users

The customer who registers for TAB.DIGITAL services is solely responsible for all activities conducted under their account. This includes any actions performed by employees, team members, contractors, collaborators, or any other third parties who have been granted access to the account or associated services.

The customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of account credentials and for ensuring that access to the services is granted only to authorized users. Any actions carried out through the account shall be deemed to have been performed by the customer, regardless of whether such actions were authorized.

The customer agrees to ensure that all sub-users and third parties comply with this Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws and regulations. Any violation of this Policy by a sub-user or third party shall be considered a violation by the customer.

6. Third-Party Software and Content

TAB.DIGITAL services are based on and may include integration with third-party and open-source software technologies. While TAB.DIGITAL manages and operates the infrastructure and environment, it does not control the nature of the content uploaded, stored, or transmitted by users. Users are solely responsible for all content they store, share, or otherwise make available through the services. This includes ensuring that such content complies with applicable laws, does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties, and is consistent with this Acceptable Use Policy.

Where users install, integrate, or make use of third-party applications, plugins, or external services within the TAB.DIGITAL environment, they are responsible for ensuring that such integrations do not introduce security risks, violate applicable laws, or breach this Policy. TAB.DIGITAL shall not be liable for the behavior, functionality, or compliance of third-party software used within the services.

7. Enforcement and Actions

In case of violations of this policy, TAB.DIGITAL reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including:
  • Removal or restriction of access to content
  • Temporary suspension of services
  • Permanent termination of accounts

8. Changes to This Policy

TAB.DIGITAL reserves the right to modify or update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on the TAB.DIGITAL website, unless stated otherwise.

Continued use of the services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
